MASTER OF PHILOSOPHY
Description:
The Master of Philosophy is awarded on completion of a Thesis, based on innovative work, demonstrating evidence of mastery in the application of advanced techniques in the solution of a research problem and the successful completion of four (4) mandatory research courses and two (2) or three (3) seminars. There must be an oral defence of the Thesis.

Entry Requirements
- Persons holding a Taught Master's Degree from an approved university with a B average or equivalent GPA.
- Persons holding a Bachelor's degree from an approved university with a B+ average, or Upper Second Class Honors or equivalent GPA.
- Persons with other professional qualifications and industrial or business experience deemed to be suitable by the Post Graduate Studies and Research Committee.
