Programme Objectives
The purpose of the programme is to provide students with a sound theoretical knowledge and clear understanding of the practical and professional foundations and applications of Information Systems Management.
It allows the student to integrate information technology effectively into managerial processes and business strategies as well as take full advantage of the information technology available.
Programme Aims
To analyse, design and construct, implement and evaluate information systems to provide business solutions.
To empower people in information technology environments
To demonstrate critical and analytical thinking in the application of knowledge in Information management systems.
Learning Outcomes
Model and design computer decision-making models and information systems, networked systems, integration standards and platforms
Use appropriate Information Technology to locate, acquire and analyse data
Demonstrate acceptable managerial qualities, team skills, and collaborative approaches to problem solving.
Programme Structure
The ROYTEC Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Management (BISM) requires for entry the Associate of Science Degree in Information Systems Management (ADISM). These are offered on a Full-Time and Part-Time basis, each programme taking two years to complete, with a four year overall duration.
