Associate of Science Degree in Information Systems Management
Programme Objectives
The aim of the programme is to increase the appreciation and critical understanding of the principles of information theory and of information technology with a view to allowing the graduates to effectively design, implement, and maintain communication systems, computer networks and related technologies.
It allows the student to integrate information technology effectively into managerial processes and business strategies as well as take full advantage of the information technology available.
Programme Aims
To produce graduates who will have particular knowledge and skills related to the development of large-scale fundamental and application software problems.
To develop graduates who are capable of designing and developing IT applications in a variety of business architectures.
To provide students with the opportunity to develop skills within an industrial setting through an Internship Programme and exposure to technology environments.
Programme Structure
The ROYTEC Associate of Science Degree in Information Systems Management is offered both on a Full-time (one and a half years) and Part-time (two year) basis.
Graduates of this programme may continue at Monroe College, in New York through the Baccalaureate Programme curriculum leading to the Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from Monroe College, New York.

Please note that the above courses represent a revised programme of study for September 2011. Students who began their studies prior to September 2011 are expected to follow their original programme of study for the Associate of Science Degree in Information Systems Management.
Admission Requirements
A minimum of five (5) CXC passes, (General Proficiency) Grades I and II (Grade III accepted from June 1998 onwards) or five (5) GCE O’ Level passes, Grades A, B and C or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
Students may also be considered on the basis of their work experience, training and educational background as deemed relevant by the ROYTEC Admissions Committee to be the equivalent of the above for the purpose of study and may be subject to an interview.
