Emergency Medical Technician/ Driver
The EMT responds to calls for medical attention by driving the ambulance to transport sick, injured or convalescent persons. The candidate assesses the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed or the need for additional assistance. In addition, the EMT administers emergency medical care at the emergency scene as needed. The EMT is responsible for acting in accordance with specified medical and legal guidelines to maintain and preserve the life and well-being of critical patients in their care.
The Driver will assist the Emergency Medical Technicians as required on all medical transport calls and delivers first aid when necessary. The candidate ensures that the emergency vehicle is maintained in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition at all times and drives the ambulance to transport sick, injured, or convalescent persons.
Requirements:
Emergency Medical Technician Certificate
At least 1-2 years related experience
Twenty-five (25) years or older
