J&K is looking for an Ecommerce & Digital Technology Administrator to develop, implement and manage the operations of the company's websites & other digital technology platforms with the aim of maximizing net sales, ensuring quality control, and providing excellent customer service.

A.     JOB FUNCTION

The primary functions of the Ecommerce & Digital Technology Administrator are to develop, implement and manage the operations of the company websites, loyalty programme and any other digital technology platform owned and/or controlled by the company with the aim of maximizing net sales, ensuring quality control, and providing excellent customer service on the platforms.  

 

B.      KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for ensuring that all digital software and platforms owned and controlled by the company operate at an optimal level to be able to maximize sales opportunities, meet profitability targets and maintain customer satisfaction.
  2.  Responsible for supporting the digital marketing team in growing the eCommerce channels against established revenue and margin targets with a laser-focus on conversion of offline customers to online, new customer acquisition, conversion and effective site merchandising.
  3. Avoid and minimize downtime on all platforms by developing and overseeing site maintenance schedule to avoid disruptions including regular site audits (at least monthly), prioritizing development tasks (i.e. 404s, missing tags etc), recommend fixes and working with external partners to address them and ensure functionality of links to our website.
  4. Manage the company’s loyalty programme including responsibility for the programme optimization (member acquisition, engagement and retention) and the modelling, analysis and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), making modifications to the system, troubleshooting system issues and communicating system updates.
  5. Work with the marketing team to ensure the website, loyalty programme and any other digital technology platforms of the company are adequately supported to meet the sales and branding objectives of the platforms.
  6. Leads all projects to upload or remove products and other content to the website with strict adherence to marketing instructions and brand guidelines.
  7. Manage internal quality assurance and launch processes closely with cross-functional teams, so that products are released on time for sale online.
  8. Identify key business opportunities and initiate strategic enhancements/upgrades of website. Lead implementation and project management with internal team members and external agencies.
  9. Manage third-party vendors and agencies to successfully improve the shopping experience and drive new traffic to the site.
  10. Closely monitor and partner with the Operations and Warehouse team to ensure package fulfillment meets well-defined operational and brand standards.
  11. Manage customer returns and exchanges, customer issues with online purchases and reports on and escalates unresolved customer service matters to the Customer Service Supervisor in a timely manner for urgent attention and according to company standards.
  12. Lead and oversee the updating and maintenance of the website including content/copy, product information, banners, landing pages, company information, accurate inventory, uploads, etc. 
  13. Works with the other members of the Sales & Marketing teams to brainstorm and create appropriate content that conforms to the requirements needed for use on our platforms.
  14. Provides daily, weekly and monthly insights into the performance of our digital platforms along with any other reports that may be required.
  15. Support planning activities by researching and compiling data for marketing plans, projects, and reports.
  16. Support the development and maintenance of a team environment by performing other related duties as may be required.

 

C.      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Project Management, or related degree.
  • Two to three (2-3) years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with Woo Commerce will be an important asset.
  • Experience with retail fashion online is a plus.
  • Content creation skills and experience will be considered an asset.

 

D.     REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Possesses an understanding of basic web technologies (FTP, browsers, basic HTML, data files), Google products such as Webmaster Tools and Analytics, the disciplines required to drive traffic to retail websites (Pay Per Click, email marketing, link generation, online Public Relations, SEO, offline marketing and PR, affiliate programmes, etc)
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to adapt to, new technologies.
  • Highly creative
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic and fast-paced and team-centred environment.
  • Excellent planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, inclusive of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An interest in Fashion will be an asset
  • Understanding of order management/customer fulfilment in an e-commerce context

 

E.  COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

TTD $7000$8,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Other attractive benefits offered.
