This position is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to Senior Executives, ensuring punctuality, vehicle upkeep, and adherence to all road and company regulations and a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Transport Senior Executives safely and efficiently to various locations, including meetings, events, and personal engagements.
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours, including availability for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • performing routine checks on oil, tires, brakes, and other key components.
  • Exercise defensive driving techniques and situational awareness to ensure the safety of the Senior Executives.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Stay informed on Jamaican road traffic laws and security risks, especially in high-risk areas.
  • Manage fuel purchases using the Advance Card and submit receipts to the Property Officer.
  • Maintain basic written reports, including:
    • Vehicle Maintenance Reports – Noting servicing needs and mechanical issues.
    • Incident Reports – Documenting accidents, traffic violations, or unusual events.

 

Any other duties assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Secondary level education
  • Valid Jamaican driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a personal, executive, or corporate driver with 3 to 5 years of proven experience.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement due to the sensitive nature of the role.
  • Basic literacy and communication skills to read instructions, write reports, and communicate effectively.
  • Defensive driving and security awareness techniques (training in this area would be an asset).
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to interact professionally with executives and stakeholders.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify and report issues promptly.
