Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Company Driver to transport staff and materials safely and efficiently to their destinations. The ideal candidate should have a valid driver’s license, an excellent driving record, and a strong commitment to safety and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transportation Duties:
• Safely transport employees and or materials to designated locations.
• Follow the assigned schedule and routes to ensure timely deliveries or pick-ups.
2. Vehicle Maintenance:
• Perform routine vehicle checks (oil, fuel, brakes, lights, tires, etc.) and ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Liase with maintenance team and schedule and coordinate regular vehicle servicing and repairs as needed.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
3. Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and any required certifications.
• Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly to the manager.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
• Collect and deliver official documents, invoices, and payments as instructed.
5. Customer Service:
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, staff or suppliers during trips.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with 7000KGS.
• Must be 21 years old or older
• At least 3 years proven experience as a driver.
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift moderate loads if required.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours.

Additional Preferences:

• Experience driving various vehicle types 
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

• This role may involve early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
• Drivers must be prepared to work under varying weather and traffic conditions.

Locations:

• Mandeville based but work encompasses all 14 parishes.
