 Job Description:

The Warehouse and Delivery Assistant is responsible for activities related to receiving and storing inventory, producing goods and functioning as a sideman on the delivery vehicles while accompanying drivers on delivery assignments. When assigned to warehousing and production activities the Warehouse and Delivery Assistant reports to the respective supervisor or manager. While on delivery assignments, the incumbent is under the direct supervision of the driver. The driver will transport, and deliver goods to clients or businesses in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Reviewing of orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. Assisting with loading and unloading products from vehicles. Accepting payments for delivered goods Adherence to assigned routes schedules. Adherence to the Company's Motor Vehicle Policy and Regulations whilst adhering to the laws that governs the operations of motor vehicles Preparation of reports, logs and other documentation relating to deliveries. Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients. Any other related duties.

 Key responsibilities:

• Manages pick ticket orders
• Retrieve products on pick tickets based on description and quantity
• Ensures that orders are accurate
• Stages items correctly for delivery
• Ensures warehouse goals are met
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Shrink wraps products to pallets
• Loads delivery vehicles
• Handles customers complaints in a courteous professional manner
• Packs warehouse orders as necessary
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
• Minimizing inventory shrinkage
• Minimizing theft of company’s good
• Packing company vans and trucks
• Being able to manoeuvre road system

 REQUIRED SKILLS, BEHAVIOURS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Open General or Articulated Drivers' Licence
• Minimum 5 CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics & English
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• At least 5 years experience as a in warehousing
• Strong Delivery experience
