Driver/Bearer

The Driver/ Bearer will perform a range of functions including driving and maintaining designated VIP Attractions owned vehicles, undertaking bearer duties and providing general assistance related to the efficient operations of Club Mobay. He/she will work in a 24x7x365 environment.

Applications are invited for the position of Driver/Bearer, at our Club Mo-Bay location.

The Driver/ Bearer will perform a range of functions including driving and maintaining designated VIP Attractions owned vehicles, undertaking bearer duties and providing general assistance related to the efficient operations of Club Mobay.

He/she will work in a 24x7x365 environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use motor vehicle to collect and/ or deliver mail, packages, equipment, furniture, supplies etc. on behalf of the company.
• Utilize dispatch/ receipt book to record daily movements
• Transport relevant personnel to/ from official meetings, seminars, workshops, functions etc.  
• Transport employees home following late shifts/ delayed flights to varied locations.
• Clean vehicle and conduct routine checks such as gas, oil, filter, tire pressure etc.
• Update Daily Log book with checklists, trips and other related issues with duties
• Ensure vehicle is parked at Sangster’s International Airport at close of each shift unless otherwise authorized.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

 Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Jamaican General Driver’s License (Motor Cars and Trucks to include PPV).
• Minimum of 10 years driving experience with no major accidents in last five years.
• Thorough knowledge of Road Traffic Act and Jamaican road network.
• Knowledge of auto-mechanic.
