The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a competitive service offering and securing our position as a preferred distributor. This executive position demands a strategic thinker who will be responsible for formulating and implementing sales growth strategies, enhancing brand recognition, and developing partnerships with suppliers and customers. The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing team, ensuring the achievement of revenue, profitability, and overall market presence.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning & Business Development

• Identify, structure, and negotiate business opportunities with suppliers and vendors.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and industry insights to drive business growth.
• Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability with customer satisfaction.

Commercial Management

• Prepare annual sales budgets in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer.
• Develop, oversee and maintain accountability for sales forecasts and profit goal achievement.
• Assess financial aspects of marketing strategies, including budgets and ROI.
• Lead sales forecasting, budget management, and performance tracking against KPIs.

Sales & Marketing Management

• Develop and direct sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Implement integrated marketing and advertising campaigns, leveraging digital tools.
• Monitor market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate customer and supplier needs.

Customer & Supplier Relationships

• Drive new customer solicitation, bid preparation, and retention strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Represent the company in high-level engagements with suppliers and customers.

General

• Ensure consistent supply of assigned brands and timely order approvals.
• Ensure consistent supply chain efficiency, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution logistics.
• Drive innovation across the product portfolio and business processes.
• Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience at an executive level in a similar environment.
• Experience in Executive Marketing Management role is a strong asset.
• Proven ability to drive market expansion, and profitability.
• Strong leadership, strategic decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Detail-oriented and results-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Local and regional travel required; must possess a valid driver’s license, passport, and necessary visas.
