Collins Limited and its subsidiaries are recruiting for the role of Divisional Head - Pharma. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a competitive service offering and securing our position as a preferred distributor.  This executive position demands a strategic thinker who will be responsible for formulating and implementing sales growth strategies, meeting and exceeding sales and profit objectives, and developing partnerships with suppliers and customers. The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing team, ensuring the achievement of revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Strategic Planning & Business Development

  • Identify, structure, and negotiate business opportunities with suppliers and vendors.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and industry insights to drive business growth.
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability with customer satisfaction.
  • Lead tendering processes and contract negotiations.

Commercial Management

  • Prepare annual sales budgets in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Develop, oversee and maintain accountability for sales forecasts and profit goal achievement.
  • Assess financial aspects of marketing strategies, including budgets and ROI.
  • Lead sales forecasting, budget management, and performance tracking against KPIs.

 

Sales & Marketing Management

  • Develop and direct sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Implement integrated marketing and advertising campaigns, leveraging digital tools.
  • Monitor market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate customer and supplier needs.

 

Customer & Supplier Relationships

  • Drive new customer solicitation, bid preparation, and retention strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in high-level engagements with suppliers and customers.

 

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with suppliers’ regulatory, quality and pharmacovigilance requirements.
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures for division operations.

 

General

  • Ensure consistent supply of assigned brands and timely order approvals.
  • Ensure consistent supply chain efficiency, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution logistics.
  • Drive innovation across the product portfolio and business processes.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales, marketing, and operations team.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

 

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience at an executive level in a similar environment.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Sales is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to drive sales, market expansion, and profitability.
  • Strong leadership, strategic decision-making and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Local and regional travel required; must possess a valid driver’s license, passport, and necessary visas.
