Distribution Manager

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain real-time inventory control to avoid shortages, overstocking, and spoilage.
• Implement and enforce FIFO stock rotation to preserve product quality.
• Develop efficient route planning to optimize delivery schedules and reduce costs.
• Ensure on-time, accurate order fulfilment while minimizing delays and complaints.
• Supervise and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Implement and monitor security measures and safety compliance across the warehouse.
• Train, supervise, and motivate warehouse and delivery staff to drive performance.
• Implement KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews to improve efficiency.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and adopt best practices in warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution management, preferably in food distribution.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and warehouse automation technologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of regional import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures.
