DISPATCH AGENT

Job Summary:

We are seeking Dispatch Agents with a minimum of 1 year in the BPO sector. The ideal candidate will have a background in dispatching operations, although it is not mandatory. The Dispatch Agent will be in constant communication with drivers and client to ensure all logistics needs are met.  

Specific Duties:

  • Deliver outstanding carrier and driver experience.
  • Use internal resources to gather data and conduct relevant analysis.
  • Schedule and assign drivers to various routes.
  • Track and monitor the progress of deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Generate Reports as required.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the dispatch operation.
  • Resolve issues and address inquiries from drivers and customers professionally and promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry practices is a plus.
  • Willingness to work under pressure.
  • Ability to think fast on your feet during a crisis and respond accordingly with a contingency plan for future.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact with customers comfortably and document the requirements.
  • Great Multi-tasking skills.

Qualifications:

  • Working Knowledge of basic MS Office tools like Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Project Coordination Expertise preferred.
  • Prior Experience with a Dispatching software is a plus.

Required Experience:

  • At least 1 year experience in Dispatch Services, Reservations, Sales or Customer Service.
