Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Disbursement Operations team in the capacity of:

 

Disbursement Operations Administrator

 

Provide administrative support to the Disbursement Operations Unit while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and actively participate in digital transformation initiatives.

Ensure the end-to-end processing of urgent disbursement requests and queries.

 

Location: Kingston

 

As a Disbursement Operations Administrator, you will:

 

  • Coordinate and manage disbursement activities, including processing payments and handling financial documentation.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a Learning and Development Hub.
  • Analyse existing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Contribute actively to ongoing digital transformation initiatives within the Finance unit.
  • Embrace and implement technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Provide support in various areas, such as data entry, report generation, and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Address and resolve queries related to disbursement processes promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide accurate and timely information in response to queries.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

 

What do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Minimum of three (3) years working experience in a similar capacity in the Finance field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheets and word processing,
