Job SummaryThe Digital Marketing Specialist will be required to publish blogs, video logs, websites, articles utilizing the latest digital media strategies and tools for marketing purposes.

 

Objectives of this Role

  • Develop digital media strategies with business goals aligned with the company’s vision.
  • Create digital content including websites, blogs, articles, animated explainer videos.
  • Establish our online presence and create brand awareness.
  • Run day to day social media and search engine optimization audits to ensure best practices are being used.
  • Maintain SEO regular keyword research and other best practices.
  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
  • Monitor project status and budget
  • Conduct market research to inform campaigns
  • Research competitors’ pricing and products
  • Create a unique brand identity online.
  • Create visual concepts for promotional activities.
  • Create and monitor Google Ads marketing campaigns and coordinate with the graphics team to create engaging display ads.
  • Spread the company’s message through social media and other online mediums.
  • Increase the company’s sales through online marketing.
  • Improve customer engagement using various marketing strategies.
  • Create and Manage ROI and KPIs.
  • Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders
  • Compare your company’s advertising techniques and offerings with those of competing businesses.
  • Aid in research to ensure your departmental proposal
  • Aim to stay within marketing budget while ensuring value to potential clients
  • Analyze data that shows changing trends in advertising consumption
  • Ensure that potential clients and consumers view your organization’s ad projects and buy your products.
  • Communicate with media houses on ad placements
  • Lead and/or assist with event coordination on and off site

 

General Job Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

 

Skills and Education

  • BSc in Marketing or a related field.
  • 2+ years experience as a Digital Media Specialist or within a similar role.
  • Professional Certifications in Digital Marketing Fundamentals and Digital Brand Management would be an asset
  • A portfolio which consists of past projects would be preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing software
  • Knowledge of basic HTML and web publishing.
  • Quality content generation and time management skills
