Responsible for the distribution of goods island-wide.

Delivery Truck Driver

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that assigned vehicle is check at the start of each week and report defects.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Verify products on invoices during loading.
• Route invoices by location.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are delivered and the customer is satisfied.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Liaise with the warehouse team and notify of any challenges and changes to routes.
• Pick up payments for delivered items.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Obtain clients’ and customers’ signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.
• Record all money received on invoice.
• Reconcile monies received each day, seal in bag provided and drop off for verification.
• Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to. 
• Any other duties that may be assigned periodically.
