The job holders key responsibilities include daily dispatch, Delivery Contractor supervision, asset management and addressing all customer complaints as it relates to delivery on a timely basis.
· Communicate the daily route plan to delivery drivers
· Implement systems to monitor and ensure all assigned daily deliveries executed on time and in full
· Address all customer complaints in a timely manner
· Manage Delivery Contractors/drivers performance
· Coordinate and action Delivery Contractors/Drivers absenteeism with no risk to delivery operations
· Hire and train new Delivery Contractor/Drivers to meet requirement of the operations
· Monitor and ensure all delivery equipment are available and working without risk to delivery operations
· Identify recurring problems, actively participate in closing gap for continuous improvement
· Daily Route settlement by all Delivery Contractor with settlement variance as per agreed standard
· Monitor, report and action asset damage and charge backs on a timely basis
REQUIREMENTS
· Diploma or its equivalent in an area of study related to Logistics, Distribution and or Fleet Management
· Valid Driver’s License ( Heavy T will be an asset)
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
· Experience using Express Route system or similar software for handheld device would be considered an asset
· Working knowledge of Trinidad and Tobago’s geography and road network would be considered an asset
