Delivery Driver- Needed full time

A Catering company is seeking reliable and organized candidates, to join its team as Delivery Driver. The role requires transporting and delivering of catering meals and items to various locations. The candidates should be committed to customer service and able to manage deliveries efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicle to transport catering meals and stock items.
• Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of products, adhering to scheduled routes.
• Inspect and load items for delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required signatures
• Communicate effectively to coordinate deliveries
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Assist in packing and preparing orders as needed
• Handle any delivery related issues or customer inquiries promptly and professionally

Qualification/Experience/Skills

• 4 CXC or GCE subjects including English and a numeric subject or
• Completed Secondary Education or Functional numeric and literacy skills
• 3 Years experience as a Licensed Driver
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and previous delivery experience would be an advantage.
