Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver will be required to handle and transport company products, resources and personnel between the point of origin and the point of destination.

The Delivery Driver will be required to handle and transport company products, resources and personnel between the point of origin and the point of destination. This includes, but is not limited to the safe and timely transportation, assembling, packaging and warehousing of said products and resources.

Roles and Responsibilities

•  Carry out safe transportation, delivery and warehousing of Enersave’s products & resources
• Assist with Loading and unloading products and resources, being able to lift loads in excess of 70 lbs
• Adhere to and assist in the development of techniques, policies and procedures to ensure;
  • Safe & secured handling of products & resources
  • Safe & secured storage of products & resources
  • Efficient workflow 
• Adhere to Enersave’s vehicle usage policies and GOJ laws which govern the use of motor vehicles on the roadways.
• Strategically plan routes to ensure efficient, safe and timely delivery of products & resources. 
• Communicate effectively and timely via the relevant mediums to team members, clients/customers, suppliers and various third parties to ensure company logistics & customer service objectives are met.

• Use Logistics Apps and Software to:
•   Plan & execute delivery schedules
• To submit reports and make logs
• Provide timely delivery reports. 
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance activities, and also monitor of the validity of required vehicle documents and licenses. 
• Become knowledgeable about all company operations, products and services, warranties, morals and ethics to ensure you are in tune with the company’s vision and goal. 
• Other duties as may arise from time to time and may be assigned. 
• Ensure customer satisfaction is always achieved. 

 Qualification Requirements

1. At least 5 years of proven work experience as a Delivery Driver
2. Must Possess Driver’s License that can drive Vehicles/Trucks in Excess of 5000 Kgs
3. Ability to operate forklifts is a plus
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
5. Law-abiding driving record with no traffic violations
6. Minimum of a High school degree (Truck driving certification is a plus)
7. Good Interpersonal & Customer Service Skills.
8. Good problem solving skills.
9. Physically capable of routinely lifting loads in excess of 70lbs
10. Ability to work under pressure
11. Highly Organised & Strategic in Nature
12. Training & Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Software Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
13. Training & Experience using Logistics Software or Systems
