DELIVERY DRIVER

An established distribution company since 2003 is seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Delivery Driver and Warehouse Inventory Clerk. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle all complaints from clients while passing on this information on to your supervisor.

2. Advise clients to make best product selections, while building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions where necessary.

3. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the client is satisfied.

4. Prepare and submit invoices, reports and other documents relating to deliveries both physically and online.

5. Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.

6. Make deliveries to various clientele on request of management (i.e checks to sub-contractors, products to artists, etc.)

7. Accept and process payments by totalling invoices; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards

8. Support the checking off daily cash and cash from Sales Reps for Guardsman pick up.

9.  Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.

10.  Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.

11.  Inspect and verify all inventory that comes into the warehouse.

12.  Dispatch inventory to Reps and filling out necessary documentation.

13.  Keep a record of inventory low stock levels and organise inventory restock from main Warehouse.

14.  Fill out and file internal inventory documents, forms, and paperwork.

15.  Participate in the company’s stock count exercises.

16.  Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.

17.  Set up, monitor, and breakdown promotional display items at sponsored events.

18.  Do any other task assigned to you from time to time by Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

4 CXCs,
A valid driver’s licence
2 years experience in a similar role
Great written and oral communication skills
