Delivery/Bearer Personnel

As a Delivery Personnel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our exquisite floral arrangements and gift baskets to our valued customers across Kingston, St. Andrew and partial St. Catherine.

As a Delivery Personnel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our exquisite floral arrangements and gift baskets to our valued customers across Kingston, St. Andrew and partial St. Catherine. You must be a reliable, customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering smiles. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Flower/Basket/Gift Delivery:

   - Safely and promptly deliver floral arrangements and gifts to customers' designated locations within St. Catherine,Kingston and surrounding areas.

- Handle all flowers and gifts with care and ensure they arrive in excellent condition.

- Ensure order details match the description of the product to avoid customer complaints.

2. Customer Service:

- Provide exceptional customer service, including friendly and professional interactions with customers at the time of delivery.

   - Verify recipient information and maintain a courteous demeanor when communicating with customers.

3. Route Planning:

   - Efficiently plan and navigate delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.

   - Use GPS and maps to optimize routes and avoid traffic congestion.

4. Communication:

   - Keep open and clear communication with the store's dispatch team to update on delivery status and any issues encountered during deliveries.

   - Notify customers when the delivery is en route or when there are delays.

   - Notify customers when the delivery is left in care of the security or front desk.

5. Documentation:

- Collect customer signatures as proof of delivery.

- Take a photo of delivery as an additional measure of proof of delivery, if necessary.

   - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted promptly.

- Collect Payments for Cash on Delivery and credit customers. Always providing a receipt to customers and reporting payments immediately to the accounts department.

6. Vehicle Maintenance:

   - Conduct routine checks on the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department. Servicing of the vehicle is to be maintained

   - Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained.

   - Ensure vehicle documents such as insurance, registration, fitness and carrier license are up to date.

 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain a Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

- Knowledge of St. Catherine's and Kingston's streets and neighborhoods.

- Strong time management and skills.

- Ability to handle delicate floral arrangements with care.

- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as required.

- COVID-19 safety awareness and compliance with health and safety protocols.
