Easy as ABC Marketing is  looking for a results-driven and tactful Debt Collector to oversee the recovery of overdue payments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to resolve payment issues effectively and maintain positive relationships with customers!

Required Experience:

  • Experience in business commerce and accounts receivable is an asset
  • Ability to make 150 to 200 outbound calls per day
  • Negotiating Bills and collecting on current / past due invoices 
  • Excellent communication skills whilst building rapport with clients.
  • Strong working knowledge of personal computers (use of Microsoft Word and Outlook)
  • Strong phone, typing skills required 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple delinquent accounts for debt collection efforts.
  • Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
  • Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments.
  • Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
  • Handle questions or complaints.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or accounts.
  • Provide information about the company’s products and services.
  • Ability to interact with customers by email and by phone; must write well, using   correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Must be able to exceed collection targets weekly.

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 CXCs including English
  • At least 3 - 4 years’ experience working in the same capacity

Compensation

  • Starting at $60,000 base pay per fortnight
  • Commission for meeting and exceeding collection targets
  • Negotiable based on skills and experience
