A detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our Finance Department and assist with Inventory Control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data related to invoices, purchase orders, and sales transactions. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring inventory levels are tracked, and supporting the overall efficiency of the finance and inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter invoices into the financial system accurately, ensuring all necessary details are correct.

  • Assist in the creation, tracking, and data entry of purchase orders, ensuring they align with financial records and inventory needs.

  • Input sales transactions into the system, ensuring accuracy and proper categorization for financial reporting and inventory updates.

  • Maintain accurate digital records of all invoices, purchase orders, sales data, and inventory transactions for easy retrieval and auditing purposes.

  • Provide data and assistance in preparing financial reports related to purchases, sales, and inventory for management review.

  • Work closely with other departments, such as accounting, sales and procurement, to ensure timely and accurate data flow between finance, sales, and inventory teams.

Qualifications:

  • 5 CXC Passes (Grades I, II, or III) - Inclusive of Maths & English; Accounts will be an asset

  • Proven experience in data entry, preferably in finance or inventory control.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management software; experience 

  • Basic understanding of finance, accounting, and inventory management principles, will be an asset
