Data Entry Clerk (3 month temporary contract)

We are currently seeking candidates to fill the role of Data Entry Clerk (3 month temporary contract) with one of our clients in the petrochemical sector based in Pt Lisas.

Data Entry Clerk (3 month temporary/contract)

Location:  Pt Lisas/Couva

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Three (3) to five (5) years proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk in a fast-paced environment
• Diploma in Business Management or related discipline AND at least five (5) CXC/CSEC/GCE ‘O’ level passes at Grades I or II including Mathematics and English Language
• Proficient in Ms Office 365 inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related Microsoft applications.
• Highly desired:  fast typing skills, knowledge of touch typing system
• Understanding of databases
• Ability to generate graphs in Ms Excel
• Good command of English Language (oral and written)
• Results oriented with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, performance driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transferring paper formats into computer files or a database system
• Typing/inputting data
• Creating spreadsheets with large number of figures and graphs
• Verifying data by comparing same to source documents
• Update existing data

Successful candidate must be able to start right away, if successful.
