DIRECTOR - Research & Communications

Our client is seeking to recruit a Director - Research & Communications.  Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, the Director - Research & Communications will develop and execute the Corporation’s comprehensive research and communications strategies aimed at driving innovation and product development.  The Director will continue to develop Barbados’ value proposition for global investors and stimulate the growth of investment into the sector. 

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Economics/Marketing/Communications/Public Relations or related discipline plus a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record of high performance, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Marketing/Communications/Public Relations or related discipline plus a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record of high performance. Experience in developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Working knowledge of statistical software and data analysis terminology.
