The Delivery Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing product delivery operations for the Feed Mill located at Pacific Avenue, Pt. Lisas Industrial Estate, Couva. This position ensures the timely and efficient delivery of feed products to customers while providing exceptional customer service. The manager will oversee the delivery team and the product delivery process, ensuring that all customer orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and in compliance with company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate timely delivery scheduling and manage customer expectations.
  • Optimize delivery routes and schedules for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and manage fleet maintenance.
  • Supervise and motivate the delivery team to meet performance standards.
  • Provide training, feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels and proper vehicle stocking for timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory and address stock shortages proactively.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and train the team on best practices.
  • Resolve delivery issues promptly and collaborate with sales to manage expectations.
  • Collect and act on customer feedback to improve service quality.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports on delivery performance and customer service.
  • Analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics/operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience in the agricultural, feed, or poultry industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in delivery operations and managing logistics or transportation teams.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics, route optimization, and transportation regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
