We are seeking a Cybersecurity Officer who will provide operational cybersecurity support to the business units of the Bermudez Group while maintaining all vulnerability and threat management solutions.

OUR NEED

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Officer who will provide operational cybersecurity support to the business units of the Bermudez Group while maintaining all vulnerability and threat management solutions.

KEY DUTIES

Included among the responsibilities of the role are: -

• Fully understands a wide array of cybersecurity processes and concepts.
• Identifies and researches potential cybersecurity risks, threats and vulnerabilities using public and private information, open-source intelligence, and other effective research techniques.
• Works with the various IT Teams and cybersecurity services vendors to assess cybersecurity risks, threats and vulnerabilities to the business units and their operations.
• Works with the various IT Teams and cybersecurity vendors to implement mitigation measures to address identified risks, threats and vulnerabilities.
• Works with the various IT Teams and cybersecurity vendors to respond to and address IT cybersecurity incidents.

DESIRED BACKGROUND/SKILLS

The incumbent should possess: -

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Technology or an equivalent accreditation together with at least four (4) years post qualification experience in a similar or related job function.
• Sound technical knowledge and skill in analyzing, understanding, and remediating cybersecurity risks, threats and vulnerabilities in an Enterprise environment.
• An appreciation of the strategic objectives, imperatives, policies, procedures, and perspectives of the Group IT function.
• Well-developed analytical, diagnostic, interpersonal, office management and communicative skills.
• Working knowledge of organizational theory and practice, interpretative judgment, and an understanding of the strategic and business management functions.
