Customer Service Representative


As A CSR, you will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer might face.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle exceptions / customer special demands /unexpected shipment disruptions/ issues / complaints and provide appropriate solutions / alternatives within committed timelines;
  • Coordinate with related internal teams and follow up to ensure resolution;
  • Contact to customers and manage/coordinate system modifications when needed;
  • Manage B/L amendments;
  • Manage communication between Different Teams (Agency, HO, Customers);
  • Check Manifest info and proceed with amendment after NOA is sent to Customer;
  • Team Support Functions;
  • Filing and documentation management;
  • Service Delivery Import (Lunch Relief);
  • Manages the bill of lading validation process and cargo release;
  • Manages the port community system delivery order process;
  • Pre-invoicing and Invoicing of Freight invoice & credit notes;
  • Pre-invoicing and Invoicing of demurrage invoices from LARA;
  • Identify additional Charges and add them to Charge Screen.


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Secondary Level Education with a minimum of 5 subjects including Mathematics and English. Information Technology is a plus;
  • 2 – 3 years of customer service experience;
  • Basic internet troubleshooting skills;
  • Must be Internet and computer savvy;
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Critical thinker, great work ethic and dependable.
