Custodian (Cleaner)

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

Work Experience:

• Must have working experience in a hotel environment as a custodian for a minimum of one (1) year.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Empty, clean, and replenish waste containers
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring supplies like toilet paper and soap are adequately stocked
• Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors, clean windows, and restrooms
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job
