The purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day operations of the Credit function, whilst ensuring that customers receive service beyond their expectations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• Tertiary level education, preferably a degree in Banking and Finance or related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• Strong (internal and external) Customer Service skills.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Computer literate and numerate.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's credit policies and procedures.
• Manage the daily work activities relating to Credit authorization to ensure that credit is approved in accordance with Company guidelines.
• Effectively administer credit control procedures.
• Ensure Sales Representatives have knowledge of Credit policies and procedures.
• Approve credit applications up to the assigned limit
• Ensure that information on credit proposals is completed correctly.
• Provide training to staff on Credit granting policies and guidelines.
• Ensure that information on credit proposals is completed correctly
