Job Summary

Direct and oversee all business activities, strategic initiatives, and sales operations of ANSA Chemicals Jamaica Limited maintaining adherence to health, safety, security, and environmental standards and driving growth in packaged bleach, bulk bleach, and water treatment services, while ensuring the effective management of the liquid chlorine transfilling hub.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all business operations to achieve financial, operational, and strategic objectives by overseeing the activities of ANSA Chemicals Jamaica Limited and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop and execute revenue growth strategies to increase sales of packaged bleach, bulk bleach, and water treatment services, aligning with the overall business strategy to drive profitability and market expansion.
• Manage the sales function for packaged bleach, bulk bleach, and water treatment services by leading sales initiatives, building a strong pipeline, and identifying new market opportunities to boost sales and revenue growth.
• Oversee liquid chlorine transfilling hub operations by ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, managing logistics, and optimizing processes for operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers by fostering engagement, attracting new customers, and retaining existing clients to enhance business growth and continuity.
• Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and alignment with the company’s objectives, while controlling operational expenses and maximizing profitability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by implementing change management processes and best practices, driving operational excellence and enhancing overall business performance.
• Provide regular reports to senior executives on business development, sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Identify training needs and conduct coaching initiatives for sales and support teams to develop competencies, improve staff performance, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Lead performance management of staff through effective leadership, ensuring compliance with company policies, labour laws, and good industrial relations (IR) practices to maintain a productive and engaged workforce.
• Manage and maintain HSSE policies and standards by ensuring the implementation and adherence to health, safety, security, and environmental protocols across all plant operations, including the liquid chlorine transfilling hub, to protect employees, equipment, and the environment, and to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as required to support the achievement of business objectives and the efficient functioning of ANSA Chemicals Jamaica Limited.
