JOB TITLE: Consumer Senior Sales Representative
Primary objective of the job:
The Consumer Senior Sales Representative’s responsibilities is to drive revenue growth in ALL consumer sales products. Working strategically with both the Commercial and Digicel business teams to present on Digicel Consumer sales products and services to residential and to corporate Barbados. In additional to developing relationship with key shareholders to capture new opportunities to sell and deliver Digicel products and services.
The role is to execute sales strategies, by exploring consumer and business opportunities and maximize sales prospect. You will also establish and maintain excellent relationship with potential and existing customers as well as to provide world-class customer service to strengthen customer loyalty and market penetration. The individual will need to demonstrate a track record of achievement in previous sales roles and a hunger for achievement.
The Consumer Senior Sales Representative must be a confident and driven, self-starter who can be a team player; always provides a high level of customer service, projects and maintains a positive image with those contacted during their work & develops and maintains collaborative and respectful working relationships with team members and customers. Targets must be achieved, failure to achieve against set targets and objectives may result in position review up to and including dismissal.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Profile:
- Meet ALL Consumer Sales product targets
- Present new or additional products and services to existing customers
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Digicel products services and the industries trends
- Approach prospective clients through cold- calling, emails etc. to meet assigned targets
- Be the main point of contact for assigned customers and businesses
- Prepare and track daily, weekly and monthly sales to submit end of day reports
- Manage pipeline to minimise time installation
- Monitor market trends and the competitor activities
- Follow up regularly after closing a sale to ensure client satisfaction
- Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints to ensure resolutions and follow through by means of delegating queries through customer support channels to retain customers
- Ensure all sales are closed and keyed/billed on completion of signed contract
- Collect and communicate competitive data, including pricing, feature needs and value of competitor and propose strategies to improve market
- Compile and record all customer engagement details via share applications, relevant forms and activity logs
- Participate in company events including tradeshows and other events
Academic qualifications and experience required:
- Certificate in Business Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years in sales environment with proven track record of delivering results
- Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Salesforce or similar application would be an asset
- An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
