Community Coordinator (Social Media Officer)

The Community Coordinator (Social Media Officer) job will be to develop creative and engaging various social media strategies while managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

NB: The candidates should enjoy adventure (water, ATV bikes, buggies, zipline) love for the animals and must be able to swim.

Core Functions:

The  Community Coordinator job will be to develop creative and engaging various social media strategies while managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Marketing,  Journalism, PR, marketing or related field.
• Experience handling a press conference.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pitch to media.
• Knowledge of consumer marketing and Content creation for social networks
• An ability to work on big strategy plans as well as day-to-day tasks.
• Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
• Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives.
• Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills.
• Creativity in securing coverage and buzz with traditional outlets.
• Understanding of social media and solid experience working with bloggers.
• Project and budget management skills.
• Responds well under pressure with strict time limit.
• Quick and enthusiastic learner.
• Experience in Social Media (META, Facebook, Instagram)
• Basic notion of Photography and Video

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement advertise and marketing strategies and campaigns while drafting, creating and sending press releases to the relevant areas.
• Management of Social networks
• Participate in developing, launching and managing new competitions and campaigns that promote the organization and brand.
• Search, Coordinate, and form connection with influencers, and celebrities and production houses.
• Oversee, plan and deliver content across different social media platforms.
• Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms.
• Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts,working in the newsroom and the Dolphin Discovery Social Media.
• Monitor, track, analyses and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytic and Facebook insights.
• Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity.
• Analyze competitor activity.
• Attend events and interviews in relation to the company
• Coordinate press conferences
• Generate reports for policies and procedures for the commercial members.
• Represent the image of the company
