The Communication Department Intern will be responsible for supporting the Communications and Social Impact Department in the development and execution of strategic plans to improve communication.

Objetive

The Communication Department Intern will be responsible for supporting the Communications and Social Impact Department in the development and execution of strategic plans to improve communication and engagement internally with employees and externally with all other stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the ECO Learning Resource Centre – scheduling – training and activities, maintenance – coordinating landscaping, cleaning of facility, utilities, administrative activities.
  • Creating, processing, and tracking ZEUPS, following up on release, payment, updating suppliers
  • Support donation activities – collecting required documents, updating tracking sheets, liaising with requestor, procuring items, liaising with suppliers for quotes
  • Create a system to manage and track promotional items and conduct quarterly stock check
  • Assist with Social Media activities – track and monitor each platform performance; scheduling and posting of content.
  • Generate reports based on social media KPIs for local and regional audiences.
  • Photo and Video library filing and categorizing.
  • Administrative duties – recording keeping, database management – media/ projects etc.
  • Any other duties required.

 

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Professional Bachelor in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media Management. 
  • Excellent communication and written skills.

Qualifications & Experience:
