Join KPMG Jamaica's Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) in Kingston, providing back-office support to KPMG United States.
Job Summary:
As a Collections Manager, you will oversee the collections process, ensuring team performance aligns with the collection strategy. This role involves managing complex customer cases, providing guidance and training on collection strategies, and developing methods to improve collections efficiency. You will work closely with various stakeholders and report to the Collections Director.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the collections process and ensure alignment with departmental goals.
- Manage and resolve complex customer cases using advanced negotiation techniques.
- Provide guidance and training to the team on collection strategies.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching.
- Develop strategies to enhance collections efficiency and meet KPIs.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in accounting, accounts receivables, and/or collections, with at least 5 years in people management.
Special Conditions:
- Fast-paced team environment.
- Primarily paperless work environment.
- May require extended hours or work on public holidays.
