Job Summary:

ISP Finance Services is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Collections Department Manager to lead and oversee the collections team. This role requires a strong leader with experience in collections, financial recovery strategies, and team management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing collections performance, reducing delinquency rates, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the collections team, ensuring efficiency and high performance

• Develop and implement collections strategies to maximize recovery and minimize bad debt

• Monitor and analyze collections data, setting KPIs and targets for team members

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all collection activities

• Train and mentor collections staff to enhance negotiation skills and customer interactions

• Coordinate escalations for delinquent accounts, including legal proceedings where necessary

• Liaise with external collection agencies to manage outsourced collections efforts

• Prepare and present reports to senior management on collections performance, challenges, and recovery rates

• Enhance collections policies and procedures for improved efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required)

• Proven experience in collections, debt recovery, or financial services management

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Knowledge of collections regulations and compliance standards

• Proficiency in loan management software, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools

• Ability to analyze data and implement strategic improvements
