Collections Agent
Job Summary:
The collections agent is responsible for negotiating and resolving delinquent account balances with customers while adhering to all regulations, high standards of compliance, and company policies.
Specific Duties:
a) Contact customers in arrears to discuss outstanding debts.
b) Follow Company policies and procedures at all times, ensuring that legislative requirements are met.
c) Achieve set revenue targets and call quality objectives.
d) Handle each call promptly and in the correct manner, updating records accordingly.
e) Take responsibility for resolving disputes, ensuring that caller concerns are actioned correctly and all parties are notified.
f) Being persuasive, persistent and self -motivated and assertive.
g) Monitors delinquent accounts and implements collections procedures.
h) Responds to inquiries from customers or external collection resources.
i) Obtains required information from credit organizations, banks and loan associations for new customer applications and/or delinquent accounts.
j) Reviews and makes recommendations regarding bad debts or write-offs.
k) Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 CXCs including English Language
Required Experience:
- At least (1) year of experience in customer service.
- Experience as a hard core collections agent preferred.
