Cold End Technician- Carib Glassworks Ltd.

To audit setup, operate, monitor and conduct RCAs the Cold End related problems, so that the finished product released to the Warehouse from Production fully complies with the customers’ requirements for Manufacturing, Quality and Health & Safety.

• To audit setup, operate, monitor and conduct RCAs the Cold End related problems, so that the finished product released to the Warehouse from Production fully complies with the customers’ requirements for Manufacturing, Quality and Health & Safety. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate Cold End equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure. 
• Perform corrective actions on problems relating to packaging equipment  
• Audit the Setup of all inspection equipment and transportation system against OEM Standards. 
• Clear and reset faults, including identifying, performing RCAs and resolving faults  
• Keep equipment free form jammed/stuck bottles 
• Perform and assist in troubleshooting activities. 
• Responsible for operational system checks of CE equipment and/or system inclusive of, but not limited to, connectors, computer, cables, cameras and sensors  
• Report abnormalities / discrepancies to the Shift Superintendent or Mechanical Engineer 
• Perform any other related duties as may be required by the job function. 
• To comply with the Company’s/ Department’s procedures and policies belonging to the Quality Management System and the Health, Safety & Environmental Management System. 
• To fulfill the legal duties of the Occupational Safety & Health Act 2004 as an employee

Qualification & Experience:

• National Craft Certificate 
• Five (5) subjects at the Ordinary Level or the equivalent, which must include Mathematics and a Science subject. 
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar environment.
