The Clinic Team Lead oversees daily operations, evaluates efficiency, and adjusts duties as needed. Responsibilities include managing patient care services, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, overseeing budgets, staff development, and maintaining clinic efficiency.

Clinic Team Lead

Position Requirements:

  • Adhere to the Lab Medica Group Code of Ethics and Employee Handbook.
  • Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficiency in patient care, staff performance, and facility management.
  • Report to upper management and relevant directors within their scope of responsibilities.
  • Maintain professional, respectful relationships with patients.
  • Address and report staff misconduct to HR.
  • Be present during critical work hours as designated by HR.
  • Provide coverage at other Lab Medica facilities if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Standards & Quality Control

  • Develop and implement patient treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
  • Establish educational protocols and optimize support systems and resources.
  • Utilize outcome measures to enhance patient care and staff performance.

Financial Performance

  • Submit cash reports and financial documents promptly.
  • Ensure efficient resource utilization and adherence to productivity guidelines.
  • Manage operational budgets and practice cost control.
  • Oversee proper handling of funds, billing, and corporate assets.

Customer Service

  • Maintain a professional and welcoming clinic environment.
  • Enhance patient satisfaction through personalized treatment and efficient service delivery.
  • Implement customer service policies and staff training programs.

Human Resources

  • Assist HR with recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Set clear expectations, provide real-time feedback, and ensure accountability.
  • Support professional growth through ongoing education and peer reviews.

Clinical Duties:

Diagnostic Testing & Procedures

  • Perform vital sign assessments (BP, pulse, BMI, glucose testing, etc.).
  • Conduct urinalysis and other routine lab tests.

Patient Care

  • Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas.
  • Assist with exams, wound care, nebulization, vaccines, and other treatments.

Client & Service Management

  • Understand various market segments, insurance providers, and corporate health programs.
  • Administer phlebotomy procedures and specimen collection for lab transport.
  • Obtain nasal, throat, and wound swabs for microbiological testing.
  • Conduct ECGs and drug/alcohol screening.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with reliable transportation.

Minimum Experience & Training:

  • Degree, diploma, or certification in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in private healthcare.
  • Proven management, supervisory, and administrative experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations.
