Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Insurance Operation Services - Client Data Management team in the capacity of:
Client Relationship Assistant
Deliver superior service and experience with every interaction to the Company’s clients consistent with the objectives of the Division.
Provide prompt and accurate information, processing financial transactions and policy changes speedily and accurately.
Assist within the unit to process member data received for Group Life and Health portfolios which includes, but not limited to, enrolment, terminations and member updates.
Assist with the preparation and dispatching of correspondence, life certificates and health cards.
Location: Kingston
As a Client Relationship Assistant, you will:
- Assist with maintaining plan files for School Mate, Church Mate, Personal Accident, Voluntary Benefits and Direct Marketing Individual Life, Group Health and Life portfolio.
- Ensure that all new and renewal case packaging contain all the relevant documents and instruction to the clients.
- Maintain member records for the members of the plans.
- Process policy changes via the workforce management system (P360) and provide feedback to internal/ external clients as appropriate.
- Perform routine membership reconciliation with member data received from group listings to identify and process additions, cancellations, plan transfers and reinstatements.
- Assist with batch processing of enrolments, reinstatements, terminations, and plan transfers.
- Screen all applications for completeness, requesting additional information/ relevant medical evidence.
- Maintain temporary current files daily and purge on a quarterly basis.
- Sort and file enrolment cards, correspondence and payment listings.
- Prepare correspondence notices, request health cards, life certificates and dispatch to the relevant persons.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- At least six (6) CSEC subjects including English Language and Mathematics or a diploma in Business Studies, Management Studies, Marketing or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Successful completion of the HIA (Parts A & B) or LOMA (Parts 1 & 2) would be an asset.
- At least two (2) years’ working experience within the Insurance industry.
- Excellent attitude to client service and teamwork.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Sound time management skills.
- Keen attention to details.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
