Class 4 Driver

Dansteel Limited is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery/Truck Driver. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery. You will be required to assist lorry men with offloading of goods.

Dansteel Limited is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery/Truck Driver. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery. Additionally, you will be required to assist lorry men with offloading of goods.

KEY DUTIES

• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
• Pack and load/offload products on/off trucks according to company’s specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with respective Manager.
• Offload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products and accompanied services meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
• Assist with internal warehouse packing and sorting of goods. 
• Any other related matters / projects as requested by upper management

Required Education and Training:

• Must possess a valid Heavy T driver's permit - Class 4 minimum. 
• Minimum of 3 years relevant driving experience.   
• Recent certificate of good character.
• Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail and ability to multi­task.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
