In the following capacity:-​

CLAIMS UNIT LEADER

Reporting to the Claims Manager, the incumbent will be expected to manage the accurate and timely processing of claims by the Processing and Own Damage Team evaluating to ensure adherence to policy conditions for indemnity. To offer service of exceptional quality to enhance the company’s image to ensure GraceKennedy Insurance is considered the insurer of choice by customers.

Our ideal candidate is a dedicated, team-oriented and organized individual with strong communication, decision making, and analytical skills.

 At minimum, applicants should possess the following:

• First Degree in Business Management or related field or pursuing or attained ACII
• Technical training in all classes of insurance
• At least seven (7) years’ experience in a general insurance environment
• Supervisory Management training
• Diploma or Certification in Insurance
• Specific knowledge in Claims Management as well as products and services offered by GK General Insurance
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and techniques.
• Strong customer relations and relationship building skills, poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Excellent time management and the ability to plan, prioritize, negotiate and meet deadlines
