Chief Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead our finance team.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead our finance team and who will be responsible for performing (but not limited to) the duties as listed below.  The candidate will also be responsible for training those within the department and monitoring their work for accuracy. Our ideal candidate has at least five years of professional accounting experience with a track record for providing accurate and efficient work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the Financial affairs of the group of Companies.
• Manage and oversee the accounting team.
• Preparation and management of yearly Budgets.
• Maintain and prepare monthly Management Accounts on a timely basis for the group of companies. 
• Management of companies’ Cash Flows and Projection
• Management of companies’ external liabilities.
• Liaison with Tax Administration and other government agencies to ensure all companies are fully tax compliance and in good standing.
• Liaison with External Auditors to ensure all companies’ yearly audits are conducted and completed on a timely basis.
• Liaison with Financial Institutions.
• Advise and work collaboratively with the Directors and Senior Management on related matters.
• Review and maintain all accounting systems and Standard operating procedures to ensure integrity is upheld.
• Report directly to the General Manager with direct line to the directors.
• Conduct all necessary training to keep the team's skills and knowledge up to date and Mentor.
