Chauffeur

The incumbent must ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorization and ensure the safety and security of the CEO/Chairman and any other passengers within his care

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the day-to-day security of the CEO/Chairman.
• Delivers and keeps accurate records of deliveries when required and ensures all documentation is submitted to management on time. 
• Responsible for the safety and security of the CEO/Chairman and any other passengers entrusted to his care.
• Drives safely and follows all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

• Reports any problems identified in the vehicle and responsible for the safe operation, usage, and maintenance of the assigned /designated vehicle.

• Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route, or schedule. Informs management of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time. 
• Available to work nights, holidays, and weekends, travel domestically and overseas when required.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
• Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed by the CEO/ Chairman.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A valid Driver's License. 
• Valid Firearm License.
• A clean driving history.
• Must have a working vehicle. 
• Defensive driving an asset.
• First-Aid certification.
• School Leaving Certificate.
• 2-3 years previous Driving Experience. 
• Training in martial arts.
• Law enforcement experience may be preferred.
• Firearms training.

• Any other equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.

• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be vigilant.
• Must be able to respond quickly and correctly during an emergency.
• Ability to make good judgement on safety and provide appropriate advice.
• Ability to perform a variety of repetitive and routine tasks and duties.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
• General familiarity with travel routes and security issues within the country.
