Role Overview
As a Cashier & Dispatcher, you will play an essential role in ensuring customers have a smooth experience from start to finish. From accurately processing payments to dispatching orders and assisting with queries, your role will be key in creating a positive, organized, and customer-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cashier Duties:
• Greet customers in a pleasant and professional manner, providing outstanding customer service.
• Accurately compute customer bills using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Process payments and issue correct change, receipts, and invoices.
• Handle authorized refunds and returns efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain accurate daily transaction reports.
• Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accurate cash handling.
• Keep the cashier workspace clean, organized, and operational at all times.

Dispatcher Duties:
• Acknowledge customers and welcome them to the store in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Dispatch the correct items to customers based on the store-issued invoice.
• Assist customers in collecting their orders quickly and efficiently.
• Address customer queries and route them to the appropriate team member when necessary.
• Ensure smooth communication between the customer, store, and other departments.
• Participate in annual stocktaking and contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Keep your designated work area clean, organized, and ready for the next customer.

What We’re Looking For
• Minimum of 4 CSEC subjects, including Math and English.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar cashier or dispatch role.
• Must be computer literate and familiar with Point of Sale systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service and teamwork.
