The Campus Director will be responsible for the operation and management of all functions related to the Tobago Campus: strategic planning, budgeting, supervision of personnel, marketing of programmes, recruitment of students, and outreach activities.

The Campus Director will be responsible for the operation and management of all functions related to the Tobago Campus. These include: strategic planning, budgeting, supervision of personnel, marketing of programmes, recruitment of students, and outreach activities to advance the training and services offered at the Campus. The Campus director also serves as liaison between the assigned campus and senior management, central administration and academic schools, and maintains relations with key stakeholders and the community.

  • Develops strategic goals for the Campus to ensure its growth and development and the achievement of the mission, vision and objectives of the College.
  • Provides academic and administrative leadership to faculty and students.
  • Communicates and implements College policies, procedures, plans and decisions to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Represents the Campus/College at both internal and external for a.
  • Ensures that faculty are provided with the necessary support to effectively advise students and to promote effective instructional delivery.
  • Manages the performance of staff and faculty through pertinent usage of the College’s performance management and appraisal system.
  • Manages the affairs of the assigned campus and its many dimensions including personnel, budget, facilities and space.
  • Engages stakeholders from various constituents as a means of promoting the programmes offered at the Campus, and be actively involved in the recruitment of students.

 Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree with emphasis in Education, Education Administration, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years’ progressive experience in higher education at the managerial level, preferably in continuing or adult education.
  • Extensive knowledge of campus operations and the organisational, operational and academic functions integral to campus operations.
  • Excellent supervisory, interpersonal relations, communication and managerial skills.
  • Ability to practice sound principles and techniques of school administration.

 Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $18,500 - $23,000
  • Transport Allowance: $1,500
  • Communication Allowance: $300
