Corporate Account Executive

Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited, a leading distribution and manufacturing company located in Montego Bay is actively searching for a dynamic, performance-driven individual to fill the role of Corporate Account Executive for our hospitality sales division.  

The Corporate Account Executive is focused on servicing the sales responsibilities such as pricing, purchase planning and reporting specific to assigned customers and customer groups. Purchase planning includes communicating usage levels to the purchasing department and monitoring actual usages. He/she is also responsible for coordinating detailed communication with buyers on special orders and category analysis.

 Duties & Responsibilities:           

  • Conduct trade visits inclusive of new client presentations and product penetrations.
  • Review and report inventory pricing having the responsibility for identifying and maximizing market pricing and competitive advantage.
  • Assist in the process on which new product meets the market trends, selling prices and those that need to be replaced by gathering communication from Sales Reps.
  • Must be familiar with the entire product portfolio and their respective philosophy to enhance effective pricing and communications.
  • Responsible for investigating queries from the field when inventory or price discrepancies are reported.
  • Ensuring selling prices in the system are in keeping with stated pricing objectives and assigned price sheets are kept up-to-date.
  • Monitor product sales forecast and report any inventory variances that may occur and provide feedback to operations and supply chain.
  • Making recommendation to the senior management team regarding monthly par levels, bearing in mind seasonal shifts in demand, lead time and availability of items.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports specific to brand requirements.
  • Monitor, report and investigate on a regular basis customer performance activities and with customers.
  • Prospect new clients via sales calls and networking events.
  • Assist the marketing department to develop and execute corporate sales initiatives.
  • Oversees the sales process as each stage from quote, purchasing, fulfilment and follow up.
  • Target existing accounts for new business related to the different categories of CPJ Product portfolio.

 Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Public Relations or Hospitality and Tourism Management
  • Must own a reliable motor vehicle
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
  • Previous track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets would be an asset.
  • Experience in FMCG would be an asset.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and exercise good time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of staff.
  • Flexible and willing to work hours and days based on the demands of the job (e.g. early mornings, evenings and weekend days).
  • Flexible to travel for work as required.
  • Advanced computing knowledge especially Microsoft Office suite.
  • Creative and innovative thinking along with well-developed negotiating skills.
