Under the supervision of the Household Manager, the Hospitality Assistant serves as a personal assistant to a high profile client.
A high-profile government official is seeking a dedicated and professional Butler to provide exceptional personal service and ensure a seamless experience at their residence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the utmost discretion, integrity, and attention to detail, upholding the highest standards of hospitality and confidentiality. This position requires flexibility, a strong understanding of service etiquette, and the ability to handle a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Personalized Service: Attend to the daily needs and preferences of the principal, including meal service, personal errands, and other household requests.
· Hospitality & Event Support: Coordinate, set up, and serve at formal and informal events held at the residence, ensuring all guest needs are met with professionalism.
· Household Management: Oversee day-to-day household operations, maintain inventories, and liaise with other household staff to ensure smooth functioning.
· Travel Coordination: Assist with packing, unpacking, and preparation for trips; coordinate with travel staff to ensure all personal items and essentials are organized and available.
· Discretion and Confidentiality: Handle all interactions with discretion and protect the privacy of the principal and guests at all times.
· Maintenance & Upkeep: Ensure cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of assigned areas; inspect and maintain high standards of presentation in all rooms.
· Vendor Management: Arrange appointments, repairs, and services with third-party vendors, ensuring quality control.
· Administrative Tasks: Maintain records, prepare reports, manage schedules, and assist with administrative duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· An Associate Degree/Advance Certification in Hospitality Management/ Food Service, or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution. AND
· Training in Wait Service and Food & Beverage Preparation. Preferable HEART TRUST -NTA Certification with practical experience in a formal food service entity. AND
· At least five (5) years of proven, related experience in a comparable setting, AND
· Valid Food Handlers’ Permit
