To develop and execute in direct coordination with the General Manager and team, brand activities and implementation that facilitate the achievement of optimum brand equity, sales, distribution, brand visibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To develop plans in conjunction with the key stakeholders, so as to have a seamless execution of the, promotions, media and product launches for brand (s) and to achieve the Trade Marketing/Marketing objectives. 
  • Ensure timely submission of brand execution reports on assigned category to the team as requested.
  • Proficient in using S2K for obtaining reports for decision-making.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely trade marketing executions and provide support to the  sales team.
  • Achieve and monitor monthly unit, and gross profit performance targets in keeping with the portfolio’s objectives and implementing trade strategies to ensure continuous growth.
  • To ensure optimum quality, distribution, visibility, price, placement and promotion of the assigned brands in all retail environment.
  • Accompany Principal on trade visits.
  • Visit promotional activities especially for the category.
  • Prepare draft forecasts and budget proposals and administer approved A&P budgets in collaboration with the supplier and the Management Team ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and tracked.
  • Monitor and report on all competitive activity to General Manager in the trade through regular and scheduled trade visits, including appropriate tactical initiatives to counteract such activity.
  • Monitor product expiration dates and implement measures to keep expiries at set minimum targets.
  • Work closely with  Trade Marketing & Brand Managers in Puerto Rico (PR) to ensure flawless execution of agreed promotional activities.
  • Attend sales meetings and make presentations where applicable.
  • Agree targets with Principals at the beginning of their fiscal year and communicate any deviations early along with reasons for it.
  • Prepare annual budget for Principals.
  • Ensure that quarterly action plans are develop with A&P activities for approval by the Principal in writing and subsequent execution.
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

 

  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • University Degree in Marketing/Business Administration or related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in FMCG environment
  • Sales and Marketing experience will be an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Must be willing to travel island-wide
  • Must have US Visa
  • Must have a valid drivers license and own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
