Goddard Catering Group (Jamaica) Ltd., a subsidiary of Goddard Enterprises Limited (GEL), is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 21 countries in the USA, the Caribbean, Central and South America, is seeking to recruit a passionate, skilled and highly motivated individual to join the team in the role of Business Support Coordinator.

Job Overview

As a Business Support Coordinator within our Accounts team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and providing executive support to the Catering Manager (CM) and Country Finance Manager (CFM). Your responsibilities will involve analyzing cost and price trends, establishing systematic approaches to costing and pricing mechanisms, and efficiently managing various administrative tasks.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF FUNCTIONS

  1. Support the company's accounting processes. 
  2. Properly maintain company contracts and forms. 
  3. Efficiently undertake the executive activities of the Catering Manager (CM) and Country Finance Manager (CFM) offices to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the same.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration and a minimum two (2) years working
  • experience.
  • High level of Computer literacy; professionalism and integrity.
  • High level of data analytic and confidentiality.
  • Strong presentation skills.

SKILLS AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills. Must be deadline driven with good time management skills. A high level of confidentiality, reliability and responsibility is necessary. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and a high level of attention to details.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage cash collection and deposits for offsite locations. 
  • Conduct Spot Audits.
  • Maintenance of company contracts ,permits, returns and licenses.
  • Revenue Protection.
  • To prepare assigned schedules for GCG Catering and Ground and to monitor contracts and licenses.
  • Provide executive support to the company. 
  • Perform any other related duties as directed by the CM and CFM.
